In 2012, the world's largest Celtic hoard was discovered buried in a field in Jersey. This exhibition explores what might have led people to bury a hoard of 70,000 coins and jewellery in Jersey, 2000 years ago and looks closely at some of the items found within the hoard.

Val de la Mare Reservoir
Take your time in the beauty of natural surroundings and wander the secluded trails and pathways around Val de la Mare reservoir. This tranquil setting has benches along the way, so take a seat and relax before you are rewarded with breathtaking views.
St. Brelade’s College
A British Council accredited language centre, with 45 year's experience in offering English courses and diverse activity programmes to adults and juniors. The main centre occupies a fine Jersey granite building, just a short walk from the picturesque harbour village of St. Aubin.
La Rocque Harbour
Situated on the south eastern tip of Jersey, La Rocque is a small fishing harbour with a long breakwater that makes for a splendid seaside stroll. A beautiful sandy beach provides the perfect spot to set yourself up for a day on the beach. This area of the island sees dramatic changes every low tide, with miles of sand, gullies and reefs exposed.
Parish Church of St. Brelade
Parish Church of St. Brelade is one of the twelve ancient parish churches in Jersey. Located in the southwest corner of St. Brelade's Bay, where you'll find one of the most beautiful bays in Jersey. It is unique in having one of the few surviving medieval chapels, the Fisherman's Chapel, sited directly next to the main church.
St. Matthew’s Glass Church
St. Matthew’s started life in the 1840s as a modest chapel of ease, built at the foot of Mont Felard to spare parishioners the long uphill trek to the ancient Parish Church of St. Lawrence. Over the next century, the hamlet of Millbrook flourished, from the coming of the Jersey Railway to the age when planes landed on St. Aubin’s Bay.
Battery Moltke
Battery Moltke had intended to house four turreted 15cm Naval Artillery Guns that never arrived. The Germans instead used four 155mm Captured French Artillery guns “Canon de 155 Grande Puissance Filloux” (GPF) designated by the Germans as the “K 418(f)”.
St. Aubin’s Bay
St. Aubin’s Bay sprawls over the central part of Jersey’s southern coast. Explore a vast expanse of sandy beach spanning from St. Helier to St. Aubin’s Harbour. As the bay faces south, you can bask in the sunshine from dawn to dusk. Feel the loose, golden sand beneath your feet as you walk along this sheltered beach.
Bonne Nuit Bay
Bonne Nuit, French for ‘good night’ because of its reputation as a quiet and peaceful mooring, is a small natural harbour nestled in the north coast and sheltered by the cliffs towering above it. At low tide, a small sandy beach appears below the pebbles, a perfect spot to build sandcastles, make some beach art or enjoy a picnic.
Green Island
A local’s favourite, this sheltered south-facing beach is a real sun trap where soft sand, rock climbing and rock pool adventure awaits. The tide goes out a long way, so take care with the swift incoming tide and pick times close to high water to enjoy swimming or paddling. Burrowed on Jersey’s south coast, Green Island captures the sun perfectly.
Archirondel Bay
Archirondel is a very popular pebbly beach with plenty of sandy space to stretch out on too. Swim in the clear calm sea, skim stones and watch them skip across the water, or explore hidden rock pools at low tide. At high tide the sand is covered, so be sure to time your adventure just right.
Corbière Lighthouse
Discover the iconic Corbière Lighthouse in Jersey. It’s not just the architecture of this striking white lighthouse that draws the eye. It’s also the location - towering over Jersey’s south-western corner, flanked by rocks and reached by a causeway.

Les Minquiers Seafaris
Paradise on our doorstep, and Jersey Seafaris is your ride there! Les Minquiers are a group of islands and rocks situated 9 miles south of Jersey. The largest island, Maîtresse Île, has a cluster of small cottages used by fishermen and local ‘hut owners’.
